1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
Last week's ranking: No. 1
Curry Hits 41
Stephen Curry explodes for 41 points with 13 rebounds to lead Golden State over Orlando.
An uncharacteristic performance in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday kicked off an interesting week for the man who is threatening to go wire to wire in the No. 1 spot on this list. Curry shot just 6-for-20 (including a hideous 1-for-10 showing on 3-pointers) and finished with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists in that matchup against the Lakers. But he bounced back the next night with a 41-point barrage in a win over the Orlando Magic that saw him shoot 58 percent (14-for-24) overall, 53 percent (7-for-13) on 3-pointers while notching 13 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Then on Wednesday he shot just 4-for-12 from the floor (3-for-9 from deep), finishing with 12 points, 10 assists, three rebounds and three steals in a win against the Utah Jazz.
